    in such a litigous age, the school cannot be both an educational facility as well as a correctional one.

    if a child is disruptive, and unable to function normally, it should be the guardians responsibility to see that the child gets the proper medical attention so thay they can return to school. if the guardian is not fit or is unable to fullfill their obligations, then the state would assume ownership of the child, and carry out these actions in their place.

    the hell? you sure you read the right article brother? The parents weren't there, and the 'authorities' (not just talking about police) had to do something about the situation...and at what point did she need medical attention? or did i miss something?
