to put it simply the video can go either way.
the cops/school: shows the kid was out of control and it was a last option.
parents: shows they handcuffed the child.
the outcome: hopefully you get a jury that isn't the 'a timeout in the corner works best' bullshit ideal and will rule in favor of the school. if not this opens the door for sue happy parents all over the country and really fucks the shit ouf of schools cause NOW what are they supposed to do? timeouts don't work. detention doesn't work. locking them in a room doesn't work. so you fucked them in more ways then one.
and the 'time out' parents wonder why the public school system won't work and their kids won't pay attention in class. it's cause the kids no they don't have to. fuck that.
you know why catholic schools work. rules to the hand and strict punishment.
oh. and to the dicks who are going to turn that last statement into a religion thread.
