getting a work visa is harder and harder to do in the US. Especially during hard times. It's taking jobs away from Americans, basically. So if you find a company to hire you, they have to fill out tons of paperwork proving that foreigner has some kinda talent that no other American they could find has.
i know a company that hires many euros though... they're locking for artists for their ps2 video game. you gotta reel?
