Black people and other minorities in general have taken terms meant for the destructive purposes and made words like "nigga" terms of endearment. It's not about censoring yourself it's about being mindful of the feeling of others and the loads of shit behind the word. "i know in my heart i am not a racist" sounds like you a tre trying to prove something to yourself and us.
