bloody mary from my neck of the woods :
say bloody mary over and over in front of the mirror without blinking for one whole minute straight. she will appear in the mirror.
apparently if you don't blink for a minute or some long amount of time your eyes do start playing tricks on you.
i was so petrified of mirrors after that.
also i was scared of taking a shower after watching 'psycho' at a very young age.
