ok wayne, lets make a deal. i'll give you advice if you let me co-share this thread with my car question.
advice: i have a chrysler (somehow everyone that i knew before buying it told me NOT to buy it cause it's shit) and i have driven it 138000 miles with no major problems. *knock on wood. no transmissions, no engine, no major overhauls needed.
i guess if you think this car was well taken care of, ie oil changes, transmission fluid changes, new this and that on schedule, and, you tend to keep babying it then it should last you well beyond 200000 miles. if it's cheap and in good shape buy it.
