ok, well, it's worth looking into the mystery schools....it's the true mechanism of what is referred to as the 'spirit'... when simplified or transmutated into a 'church', you get merely a political "body" that misconstrues the true sexuality of gnosticism. basically, everything you know in tradition has been manipulated to the point of becoming the opposite of the intention.....philosophy helps ease the pain of this realization...but it helps to have never bought into it in the first place...
