Puter's the only one in here making any sense. Agreed, religion has messed up our world beyond belief (no pun intended), but its surprising nobody would speak that way when the current Dalai Lama dies, or Desmond Tutu, both very religious, social activists....
And to shoot down your hopes of the next pope aligning with the new age MTV culture: Fat chance. It's most likely going to be an even more conservative one, currently a Cardinal from Germany.
