If they do redesign it, they need to learn a lesson from AllMusic Guide.
That site looked awful, but was absolutely amazing to use. So much content, and so easy to get to. Then they fucked it all up on the redesign and it now takes four times as long to get to an album review. The graphics take so long to load. It may look better, but I can't be arsed to use it because it's so time consuming.
IMDB: watch and learn.
