I would do it... our hair will grow back atheirs will either grow back or take a long time to grow back, I agree if there was a conscience problem with person you are doing it for. I think if my mom was going throught it I would do it but men get bald some day anyways so I don;t knwo about it. If it would make the person feel better then I would and if I had long hair I would for sure donate it to the kids... no doubt about it.
Good luck with your decision. Maybe the whole family should do it even your sister since she was the one who mentioned it.
