I often don't revisit a site if it changes my browser settings. I browse in windowed mode on a 21" monitor so like one of the posters above, I don't want my browser taking up the whole screen because it's not necessary.
I don't mind being given the option but really on a lot of sites it's not necessary anyway.
It sounds like a trivial complaint but to be honest, I have my browser, monitor and resolutions set the way they are because that's how I like them. I don't want some dickhead changing it so their tiny flash site can load in the top corner of my screen.
I wish some firefox boffin would develop an extension that can override resizing as an option.
