    It all depends on the site.
    I dont really see the point on doing full screen on cnn.com for example,
    but on certain websites, specially design stuff, I think its justified.

    It's up to each one to give the option, to go full screen, or not.

    Its like a magazine made in an unconventional format, let's say square.
    People might complain it's not as easy to hold, or it doesnt fit on your magazine holder, etc.
    But sometimes, you want to diferentiate your stuff from the rest right?

    So why not?

    I once saw a site that opened in like 10 little windows, at the same time all of them shaped into a square, it was not the typical navigation system we see on every page, yes ,maybe it was not very functionality friendly, but it looked awesome!
