some writers say that moments like that are the perfect story; that tiny moment where we know that all is set, when somehow all this world makes perfect sense.
i'm reading Paul Auster's: True Tales of American Life: there is this amazing story about someone in a NY avenue amazed because there is this chicken walking alone. she turns to a narrow st. and the narrator turns to, still amazed. then the chicken pokes the door, someone opens it, and she goes in.
