You got this thing called a pci extender for avid systems well it had got itself all confused so I had to take out and reseat the ribbon cable and basically reset all the other hardware / periferals which is a pain cause it is all plumbed into a central apparatus room. It worked and I got my tablet and keyboard back aswell cause I had to replace a couple of fuses in my usb extenders aswell. It never rains it pours :) but I got there in the end.
