Yup, I was a good night out.
David Dimbleby was such a nice bloke.He came to talk to us before-hand to explain what would happen, tell some anecdotes etc.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/progr…
The way the questions work is that the country emails in their questions all week, then when the audience get there they all write two questions. Then the researchers for the program pick out about 5-6 questions that represent the whole country's questions. My questions weren't boring enought to be picked. I almost made a point but while my hand was up someone else made it.
Oh well, you did see my Silas jumper for a couple of seconds while the guy in front of me asked a question.
Ben Elton is a bit of a dick (as much as I love black adder/the young ones) he opens his mouth and all this crap comes out unedited - he should think first!
The show is recorded 'as live' ie no edits but it's done about an hour before it's shown.
I highly recommend people signing up to be in the audience if you're in the UK, and have an interest in politics (which judging by POLITICS VIII I'm assuming most NTers do!)
