oh, just started another thread, let me copy it to here:

Just came back in saw on the news that Dutch writer/filmmaker/col umnist Theo van Gogh was killed.
Thoese who don't know him, he was very much known for his political opinions.
He recently made the film "Submission" that severely criticizes islamic women suppression.
also he made a film about "Pim Fortuyn", ironically.
As opposed to a lot of other countries in the world the Netherlands hardly ever experienced political assaults, so this comes as quite a shock.
also to me.
