    hey kona..

the one thing to remember when all this is getting you down is that..in the end...when all's said and done, well..

it's a bunch of shit that you won't even really remember in the near future..

if the client didn't give you the proper info, and he promised someone else that all was ok, well...too bad for him..

the thing to do would be to get him, and the people tech guys you've been talking too together and powow..

    there is ALWAYS a solution..
maybe you just have to figure out a way to low tech it...
or cut back on one special 'feature' that just, frankly, can't be done...
or you tell the client that the problem is at the other end, and you need to wait till they upgrade THEIR offerings...
or you pull the old, 'phased' approach...where you say..ok...at this juncture 'phase 1) we can do this...
at phase 2) we can do this..
at phase 15..we can implement the impossible shit..

if you sit down with your client (not over the phone..too easy to go apeshit) sit down with him, tell him the technical problem, and brainstorm a solution that not only saves his ass, but your own..
    remember..
if you help him save face, he'll be a client to keep...
if you cast him aside now, well...thats just lost revenue..

anyhow.. i hope all goes well kona..
kick some ass at the body building thing you're doing, and remember..
don't sweat the small stuff ...
in a week, all you'll remember is that it was all bullshit anyhow..
    keep smiling

    ex
