Got it love it.. Imac G5 20"
the best part was transfering my Carbon Copy cloner copy of my Laptp that i sold last year from my firewire archive. Every Program, email, setting was transfered i about an hour.. How cool is that .. I watched a movie while it worked it all out. Purchased Office/ Virtual Pc bundle as well.. Waiting to see iff i can run a dual environment easily wwithin the Imac G5.
Definitely needs to be mounted on a wall for me... But willhave to wait for teh Vesa Adaptor to come out .. next month maybe.
The 160gGB is actually 148.93GB and the RAM rpovided in the stock config is a let down.. should have come with 512 standard but hey.Installed the airport card myself .. 5 minutes .. three screws :) and it was done.
I called last week Thursday to my local Apple store put my name on a list and Tuesday my computer was in. Really that easy.
The speakers are good but could be a bit richer but hey .. at least they are digital..
Airport express works like a charm as well.
i think thats it for now..
waitin for my new RAM to arrive.. I have been told to be very careful about cheap RAM. The specs are verytight for RAM in the new machines. We shall see.
