Thankfully I've not had any serious spills on my bike but I know the feeling exactly and can sympathise with how chossy must have felt too... was skiing with my folks in Davos and spotted a huge embankment (didn't see the large arrow pointing left) shouted back to my old man "dad jump!" and hit the embankment at great speed... what a classic jump it was, perfect in every way apart from the landing... If I hadn't pranged on landing I'd have gone 3 feet further and over the edge of a 1000 foot cliff....
when I looked up there was quite a crowd gathered all looking and pointing...saw my mums face of horror and then realised that my glasses had smashed cutting my face all around my eyes, probably the biggest shock I ever gave my family!Anyway mate, I'm glad to hear that you surived to tell the tale!
