  Orange took reds position as a firey color alternative in 96. In 2000 it was voted one of the most hated colors by women between 24-36. Then made a quick return for 2002 - 2004. Who knows what will happen with orange in the next couple years. I support it when used in conjunction with red since it gives a nice warm yet exciting and fresh feel. ;)

  Tangerines rock too.
