    I use the dell 9100, 3ghz with HT, 1gb Ram and a Radeon 9700 card.

    Positive:
    -Screaming fast performance / renders.
    -Super hi-res screen. You can get up to 1920 x 1200 which is the same pixel count as a 23" Cinema Display.
    -Loud and crisp sound system. (very rare for a note book)
    -Very effective cooling system
    -4 USB2 ports

    Downer:
    -thick & heavy
    -not that good looking
    -my display jumps once in a while when on battery.
    -the power adapter is almost as heavy as the notebook.
    -A bitch to color calibrate using the Spyder
