the k-hole is basically when you've been put on your ass. there is a certain level of tolerance that goes along with this though, mental and physical. from what i've seen and done, when you first start doing k this is very disorienting, you may even throw up, (though often it feels like your just puking up these fluffy flakes and it's not that bad as long as you have an appropriate place to do it), once you become accustomed to the drug the k-hole isn't really an issue, you may still be knocked on your ass (it is a tranquilizer) but your trip is much more controlled and you can reach some very enlightening places, much like acid. in my opinion k is much more powerful than acid though both lead to the same places with high doses (or i guess you could say good trips). in druggie terms they may call it talking to god, basically just gaining an amount of knowlege, or a stream of information rather. i have had multiple instances where you can connect with other people, both in reality and in your trip, on acid and k and you can have that flow between individuals, im not sure what the scientific term is for this but there is one (it's a theory of course because to explain it is to understand conciousness)
the k hole isn't necessarily the apex of your trip, it happens when you've done enough to get fucked up, and your about to start tripping without a doubt. it can last about 20 minutes and could easily be called the best or worst time of someones life, some may just feel really trashed and come out of it like 'well that was pretty boring/disorienting. if it's the first 5-10 times that you've tried the drug you're probably being taken for a ride rather than going for a ride. i haven't met many people that like to do it by itself, most will mix it with ecstasy, or just do a little to get messed up.
intra-muscular injection will almost always take you somewhere crazy, sniffing it will as well, but once you've shot it your probably not as satisfied.
the people you do it with control the direction of the trip immensely (sp?), just like anything similar, acid, shrooms, etc.
