    I usually try to do a holga mixed with a lomo look quite often. My method is close to the one described in the link in the earlier post. This is what I do:

    Add a levels adjustment layer on top of my original pic and adjust till it's vibrant and has good contrast.

    duplicate the orginal layer and put on top of orignal, add guassian blur between 3-5 pixels with no threshold. Duplicate this layer again.

    On bottom blurred layer, set blending to overlay and bring opacity to your liking.

    On top blurred layer, add a mask and with an airbrush about 200-300 pixels and opacity of 50-70%, clear out the center part of the mask. I like to do this manually for each individual image, because there might be objects in the image with different depths, but generally the center should be much clearer than the edges. Holgas images are much sharper at the center. This is the first part of the vignetting effect.

    Add another layer on top of this, fill with black, add mask, and do the same thing to the mask that you did with the blurred layer. Bring the opacity of this layer down to your liking. This is the second part of the vignetting effect.

    And thats pretty much it.
