I'm terrified by the prospect of retirement. I won't go into details but it's messed with my sleeping habits in a big way.
- Are you going to retire soon? If not, don't think about it, seriously, it's not worth it, we're doomed... Cheer up!OBBTKN
- About 9 years. My GF wants to leave NYC and I just recently came to the conclusion we wouldn't be able to afford it on a fixed income.CyBrainX
- Some people would welcome a change but this seems like a soul crushing loss, even years down the road.CyBrainX
- It messes me up for a bit as well. Seeing just how much that can change in just 6month, a plan for 10 years down the road must remain flexible. A lot can changemisterhow

- I just read that we self-employed will not be able to retire until the age of 71 here... another 20 years working for me. LOLOBBTKN
- I'm fine working forever... if anyone will want the old fogey version of me.CyBrainX

- I would prefer that but with the rate of common charge increases at my coop, I don't think I'll be able to afford it in retirement.CyBrainX
- Either way, I'd like to keep working late as possible.CyBrainX
