i'd rather listen to music on any modern mid priced bluetooth soundbar than yamaha NS-10s/20s you sadists :D

    • I use the NS-10 to mix music, not "listening" ;)ApeRobot
    • heh, i know. just funny to see sterile studio monitors as the first 2 examples of speakers that sound better than bluetooth speakers when you would strugglekingsteven
    • to find a less pleasurable listening set-up for the price :D but i listen to most music on my studio monitors tookingsteven
    • Ever hear a pair of NS-20's? Most people haven't. It's a pretty uncommon speaker. NS-10 sound pretty horrible.jagara
    • So the 20 is way better than the 10, which are horrible?monospaced
    • 2X bettermisterhow
    • NS-20s sound extremely clear and well-defined (they're studio monitors after all). Big bass-unit. Pretty punchy.jagara
    • i've used the big ones i think NS-100M? which are really nice. and I like NS-10s in studios. i just make a distinction between these and 'stereo system'kingsteven
    • so the NS-20s are good studio monitors, but the same company's smaller studio monitors are horrible?monospaced
    • yeah, I wouldn't recommend near field monitors for stereo listening in the home, just not really what they are good formonospaced
    • which should IMO be a bit hyped (what i love about hearing music i've mixed on stereos). that, and i've heard some amazing bluetooth speakers recentlykingsteven
    • sorry, was interrupted and had an hour between sidenotes there lolkingsteven
    • but yeah i can see how NS20s would address almost all the irks of NS10s + on stands i imagine extends the bass even further.kingsteven
    • I know my setup isn't ideal for home listening - I use them for music production. And then they double as listening speakers (I live in a small space).jagara
