    Plaid.

"A plaid pattern typically consists of two or three checkered colors, with interwoven stripes of differing colors. Plaid is considered to be the manliest clothing pattern, though paradoxically, women can also look fine in some plaid clothing items."

The brand at hand, is looking to use plaid as a compliment to their merchandise. They're touching on a London theme. Which at this point means nothing to me as I wouldn't be able to tell the difference in plaids unless they smacked me in the face with loud colors. I'm sure someone from the UK could spot a differentiation in the layout and colors of plaids.. even if there are any. So, are there any rhyme and reason besides some entity branding a certain configuration and colors?
