Went to see a Peter Howson show this morning, a big collection of his work at the City Art Centre, including a lot of the paintings he did while he was the war artist in Bosnia.
Was good to see with age, he's still inventing new techniques and altering his style, there was a period where he got into Jesus and his paintings got a bit cheesy jesus style, but he's worked through that.
