I met someone, we had three lovely days together, and then they went back to the US. First time I met someone where I felt it really could develop further.

We still write and I plan to go visit once they have settled in after a year abroad. Lots of thoughts though, is it just me who has all these feelings? What if they are reciprocated? Would I be willing to move to the US, or would they be willing to uproot and move here?

Guess its small steps for now and see where it goes (if anywhere). But at least I now know I can develop feelings for someone else after my partner passed away.

    • It would be different if this were some subreddit, but this a small community that you've gone out of your way to find people that don't give a fuck about you.garbage
