As a late b'day treat the wife and a child took me to see Henry Rollins this weekend. He was, as always, a fascinating story teller. I could listen to tales of him and Ian McKaye in DC in the late eighties all day.
At exactly 7:30 he strode out on to the stage and started talking... at approx. 1,000 miles an hour... barely pausing for breath... or applause...not one sip of water...no notes...no autoqueue...not one missed beat...for TWO AND A HALF HOURS.
The man is 62 and a fucking legend.
