i have to admit, it is hard to have sympathy for anyone who weights 400 pounds and thinks it's ok to order 2 extra-large popcorns with extra butter and nachos at a movie theater (happened last night - the guy could barely walk to the theater without gasping for air).

when does it cross your mind that the way you treat yourself could possibly be the reason you're fat?

why 2 tubs of popcorn? why not just one? why not a medium or, parish the thought, a small?

and, what is more unnerving is they then order a diet coke. like that will make it ok.

if you are aware enough to order a diet coke, then you should be in control enough not to eat 2 tubs of buttery pop-corn and an order of nachos.

i'm sorry, i understand some poeple deal with mental problems, etc...but if you can't take responsibility for your health, don't expect sympathy or special treatment.

i eat healthy. i enjoy a beer now and then. i don't smoke. i excersise and play sports. this requires some dedication.

sure, it would be easy and nice just to hit mcd's for lunch everyday. drink soda and beer everynight instead of bland water. and, it would certainly be easier in life not to force myself to run or work out everyday...but, i also want to be incontrol of my body and health.

if people want to eat like crap, and get fat...not my problem and i don't care...but don't bitch and whine about it.

humans have free-will for a reason. no one held a gun to you head and made you eat those 2 tubs of popcorn...you ordered them and you ate them.

if you're not strong enough, mentally to make yourself eat healthier, get help. there are counsellers and therapists that can help you.
