On the afternoon of August 11, N. wanted to burn green waste accumulated in a shaft in the backyard of his house.
He poured fire-accelerating liquid on the pile and set it on fire. Accelerator vapor exploded and blew the multi-ton cover plate of the shaft into the air and landed on the head of N., who suffered a life-threatening head injury and died.
