Built a bikepacking / gravel bike. Reminds me of my first mountain bike a bit.

Cable-actuated hydraulic discs are interesting but work really well.

    • I'm not into "fat tyres", but ey, this is so cool!!OBBTKN
    • I've seen the Juin brakes on a few builds they're meant to be really good. What's the wheel/hub build? Proper go anywhere bike this one, very tidy.BuddhaHat

    • I still have my Fat Chance from '98formed
    • I love the color and accents. Really clean and modern.monospaced
    • this is pimp..love those bars.rootlock
    • @BuddhaHat It's a budget(ish) build so I built the wheels myself using Octane 1 Orbital Pro hubs, DT swiss spokes and Octane 1 Solar 27.5" rims.slappy
    • Bars are Surely Sunrise, quite wide with a 15º backsweep for a cruisey, upright position. Tires are 2.1" wide to take out some of the vibrations on gravel.slappy

    • Impressed you did the wheel build yourself, good stuff! Bars are definitely setup for a cruiser position, you could ride all day.BuddhaHat
    • Chuck on a Blue Lug handlebar bag for your tools, spares and snacks!

    • Nice! Glad you used a STATE. I worked on the initial 'looking for money' decks to help get this co. off the ground back in the day. Good friends there. <3PonyBoy
