you buy multiples of items knowing you won't find them again later in life.
my grandfather had dozens of the same pair of shoes. plenty still unworn when he died. they were for running his restaurant / maintaining his house & lawn in.
i bought four of the same collar for my dog. the company may last another ~15 years, but this style and method of construction may pass before she does.
now that I mention it, i should buy another wallet from MAKR soon for the same reasons.
