If an employee sets up your company page on facebook and gets fired. If it doesn't give you administrative access, Facebook gives you no mechanism to get the page back, other than creating a new one and starting from scratch... I'm helping a client deal with this shit.

    • I actually have access to my artist page via a grey account. Still can't transfer ownership to my new account. Apparently they just don't care.PhanLo
    • Same if your account gets stolen. Happened to a friend, who kept reporting a stolen account. They just blocked him from doing it.PhanLo
    • The obvious answer is: Have the foresight to not let a single employee hold the keys to the castle. Especially one you plan on firing.section_014
    • it more complicated than that section_014. Sometimes could be a business partner, or a manager, even family member...Salarrue
    • If you have corp FB pages using gray account emails as admin you have to assign multiple admin roles asap to real FB users asap as they’re cracking downprophetone
    • I can see FBs pov on this BUT almost people like myself do not want my personal FB associated with work stuff at all...prophetone
    • So FB has essentially removed any way to have someone keep work/life separated which is crazy to me as dumbs it all down to casual personal use now onlyprophetone
    • Even though at same time FB is pishing it’s “business” tools and apps... I’d love to be convinced how this makes any sense for many FB usersprophetone
    • I just went through all of this myselfprophetone
    • Good luckprophetone
