This new model I designed looks simple, but it is quite complicated. Not only for designing, but also for the tinkering kids at home. Hours of crafting fun guaranteed!

The Municipality of Amsterdam is improving the crossings between Noord and the rest of the city with a swing bridge for cyclists and pedestrians over the Noordhollandsch Kanaal.
This model was designed commissioned by the infrastructure builder of the bridge and is handed out as a promotional gift. The size is 14 x 4.5 inch.

    • Yes, got a pile of 2D dwg files and access to an online 3D viewer where they manage the real project. I do the drawing in Illustrator, textures in Photoshop.stewart
    • Must do a ton of mock-ups as you go :)Gnash
    • Usually two or three quick mockups to see if all parts fit, and a final nice one to photograph for the portfolio.stewart
