    Media Encoder: Probably the worst piece of software Adobe makes.

    Recently, it's completely incapable of writing over a file. It will dork out with the goat sound instead. Isn't this something computers figured out 50 years ago?

    • I get that noise if I have the output file open in QuickTime or Mpeg streamclip and try to re-render. Might be that?PhanLo
    • On macOS Adobe software can't overwrite a file that is even selected in the Finder — might be because they don't use Apple APIs because other apps *can* do thatevilpeacock
