After Effects Puppet Tool:
What an incomprehensible pile of turd. The tool will randomly stop making points in some areas of a shape. The bending is wonky beyond belief and there's no weight mapping options.Lights and 3D:
I try to avoid it like the plague. Why would it be so hard to get a shadow to appear? Most of the time I bail on these awful features they refuse to improve over the decades and just do it in C4D.
