I've been reading John Doran's 'Jolly Lad' and there's a part were he writes about the birth of his son and describes the newborn looking like a mix bewteen a squirrel and Mark E. Smith. Which makes me laugh like a loon.
So. Onward lyrics-ah!
The studio was a hexagon
Old men were sat on one side
Opposite three bald triplets
I stood in the middle
Fumbling with two tin packets
Listen while I tell this tale of woe
The worm in the bacon of BB
His name was Love
But how were they to know
Mike's gift was only poisonWhen I died - love was all around
When I died - love was in the air
When I died - love was everywhere
When I diedSo whilst the cat's away
And the mouse he did play
Plots came thick and fast
Satanic meditations, shadow emissions
So hoist his music on the mast
So look at the worm in the bacon
Good vibrations, manWhen I died - love was all around
When I died - love was in the air
When I died - love was everywhere
When I died
Well then I diedTurned the beat to the brink
To post his name high
Thick and fast on the mast
Sail is all brokenThe story of love
The story of love
The story of loveWhen I died - love was all around
When I died - love was in the air
When I died - love was everywhere
When I died
When I died - love was all around
When I died - love was in the air
When I died - love was everywhere
When I died
