I'd like to tell ya to get the Macs for the students, because back in the day when I was in school, all we used were macs. Using PCs at school afterwards was a bit of a challenge because at least one person in the class would have a computer crash on them and people would have to pair up. Who cares if the "World Standard" is PC? You can run virtually the same software on a Mac that you can on a PC, except (for now) AutoCAD.
