bump for 2020.
i've been using webfaction for years, but last year they were bought by godaddy and i was just notified it's being 'integrated' with tsohost in the UK / user accounts trasnferred / webfaction shut down.
i was really happy with it, so of course this is the way it goes.
anyway, i have a couple weeks to decide on the migration or to find a new hosting solution. who is using what these days? i have a few domains and email accounts to worry about, nothing too high bandwidth and mostly for personal / social use.
- I'm in the same boat. I went with Opalstack, they're previous Webfaction employees that started a new company. Happy so far but still haven't gone through theESKEMA
- nightmare of migrating everything. Have to do it sooner than later..ESKEMA
- ^Guess we'll do the same, I don't want anything migrating to godaddygrafician
