interesting how most new members, or at least that's the impression I have, start by posting in Trump, Politics or other thread like that or post something a bit controversial or trolling like.

There was the other day someone that posted in some design relevant thread and introduced him/her/itself.

    That was refreshing.

    • Lolz @ "itself".ideaist
    • noobs posting in design relevant thread is a distraction, primary intent and final destination is always the junk threads.moldero
    • sorry, I wanted to write "it"...but you know auto-correct...oey_oey
    • design relevant thread posts by noobs scream "verify me so I can hide longer"

    • i'm telling ya just keep 1 thread for politics alive to contain the idiots, and wipe the rest.sted
    • So new folks have to stick to design-related stuff while pretty much everyone else talks politics / shits on people / places / adobe etc—Else they're trolls? :)PonyBoy
    • Limit new accounts so they can only post in something like the "Test Thread" for a few months.ok_not_ok
    • That’s not what I meant at all PonyBoy.oey_oey
    • Maybe not—but you have to ask yourself why the majority of new active users are usually trolls rejoining and not like the latter new member you described.PonyBoy
    • The site basically has been reduced to what I described... some 'senior' members make this site just as shitty and undesirable a community as any troll.PonyBoy
    • There aren't many new members these days—that's usually a reflection on the content and existing users—not one troll that 'you' pay too much attention to.PonyBoy
    • PonyBoy...I don't have to ask myself but yes that's what I'm wondering.oey_oey
