The 4th out of 9 bikes I've ever owned in my life was stolen in front of my apartment this week. I had it just shy of a year. I'm not sure if anyone knows but the bike industry has been hit so hard by the pandemic that it's nearly hard to find anything in stock. They shop across the street from me said he didn't even have anything used for sale. So, I put my name on a waiting list for the same model I had before. It's a Specialized Crossroads 1. I was too spoiled by the first one I had. It's perfect for my daily riding and commuting (pre-virus) in Lower Manhattan. I'm getting the same model in red this time because that's what was available.

It's $500 but I'm going to have to add fenders, a locking system for the wheels and seat and a Kryptonite chain.

    • If by “hit hard” you mean having an incredible season and selling out of everything...ben_
    • At least here in canada, bike shops are having one of the best years in history. And nice commuter, first designer I ever hired is now the lead s-works designerben_

    • I ordered from Specialized. They're shipping it to the bike shop across the street. I'm having the shop add fenders and a locking system for the wheels and seatCyBrainX
