Clearly my late night kebab on the way back from work at 1am was quite salty as I was totally parched every time I briefly woke up. This bled into my dreams a bit as I had a dull but very real detail in where I woke up early this morning and thirstily quaffed a bottle of cider rather than water or tea to feed my thirst. When I woke up proper I had a distinct pang of stupid regret thinking "Why the fuck did I do that?" before realising I actually hadn't and I wasn't starting the day drunk.
Was still thirsty though.
