    Spacebar hand tool stopped working in illustrator. Went on adobe support forum to see what was up.
    Adobe’s suggested fix:

    Restart chrome.

    It worked. fml

    • Since Chrome went black it's been having weird shits on me (Mojave + a Wacom). I bet CC19 is a dream if it's the only thing running on a new machine...MrT

    • Yup. This has been known to happen since they added Flash-based palettes in an older CS version. Supposedly palettes are now HTML based, but who knows?evilpeacock

    • Chrome causes some bugs with PS too. If PS is open in the background, on occasion Chrome won't show the hand tool for links on websites. It's a weird one!Centigrade
