CC programs are amazing and have allowed so many people to run businesses from their homes. Everyone uses them.

For $50/mo you have unlimited access. Who can complain about that?

    • the only compliant that we used to own the sftwre, now we rent it and pay for useless stuff for what we think a abetter deal, instead they are slaying ushelloeatbreathedrive
    • I feel just the opposite. I appreciate the constant updates and utilize at least 3 apps a day—5+ apps regularly—monthly Apps paid for w/less than 1 hours workPonyBoy
    • +1 pony, plus all the other extras included, smaller apps, typekit etc.fadein11
    • ya and they opened up typekit so all the fonts are included now. not limited anymore.Gnash
    • You guys are brainwashed by a big Corp. Continue to send your money. You fell in the trap. They will continue to raise the price.Bennn
    • If I still worked as a designer, I'd pony up. But, at this rate, it would be $20 every time I opened up the software. That's my complaint.section_014
    • Bennn, just because you have no understanding of how professionals use the suite doesn't mean they're brainwashed.monospaced
    • I'm not surprised this is your outlook, seeing as you are not their audience. I don't blame you, as most non creatives are just as clueless as to its uses.monospaced
    • But I'm going to say again ... most creative professionals don't see $50 a month as a burden. It's downright cheap, and less than an hour's work.monospaced
    • mono is a wise manformed
    • @monospaced
Not if you're selling yourself on freelance.com

    • @soundofreason, I DID say creative professionals :)monospaced
    • Death, taxes AND an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

These are the inevitabilities of life.

    • can agree... but... if you paid for photoshop in full 10 years ago, and pay subscription now, bit disappointing, all that's different is some bloat...shapesalad
    • you still double click a layer to get the dated looking styles, nothing new there or updated. feels a bit of a rip off if you paid £400 back in the day.shapesalad
    • you're now just paying for the code to run on latest OS X, and for some bloat feature you use in a blue moon. so it does seem pricey for that.shapesalad
    • especially when affinity come out with more modern and faster apps that cost a fraction of an adobe subscription.shapesalad
    • there's a lot more to CC than photoshopmonospaced
    • It should be noted that the pricing varies a lot; Some have a business price, some have 1-2 year discount. It's currently $60 USD for individual, $80 for Biz.evilpeacock
    • And even cheaper for the student version which, if you’re crafty enough you can get_niko
