/\ My name is Ben, I live in Ontario so I'll bite.

I think it's a shame we have him in office in the first place, but it makes sense given the political climate in NA and given that the Liberals really did nothing to help their cause over the past few years.

There's not a ton of French-speaking (only) Canadians in Ontario but it seems odd to alienate them in the way he's doing. I don't know if I disagree with cutting the university build entirely, but overall it seems short-sighted and little more than posturing against the Federal gov to look good in the eyes of the people who voted for him - or maybe it's because he's THAT scared of actually having to learn to speak French, which he promised to do when he took office.

But this is what you get when an uneducated buffoon takes office, and I don't mean uneducated in scholastic terms (though that's also true) - he's just a non-curious, simple-minded Ontario boy who's playing to his base of the same.

    • DF didn't have to do anything to win, the Liberals decided that their utopian (socialist) vision for society was more important than the peoplespot13
    • Anyone running as the PC leader would have won and it's a growing problem that the leader selection process for the parties (NDP and Liberal too) is so flawedspot13
    • You'll note I said as much about the Liberals. Still, df largely wins with dimwits more concerned with cheap beer than much else.ben_
