Anyone listen to Late Night Last Week?
It's a vaguely weekly roundup of the US late night sketch / talk shows by a standup / satarist called Mark Whitney. I kind of like him and the concept - cutting up the entirety of a week's worth of TV output and spinning it into a new narrative. I was always slightly envious that the UK didn't have cool, edgy late night shows like the US.
Maybe I just watched too much Larry Sanders because lately I've been disappointed by it. He doesn't really add enough of his own input and you're left with the overwhelming feeling that there is A LOT of late night satire and it's almost all shit. The same Trump gags on 15 different shows. And then James Corden.
Anyway, worth a try if you haven't.
