  I set out a load of cider jar traps for slugs and snails yesterday, all along one side of the garden. Great success! Must've snared a good twenty of each last night. Plan was to do the other side of the garden tonight... except the cunning bastards obviously realised what I was doing and took down half of a prized tomato plant that was beginning to look majestic.

  Tonight it's going to be gastropodogeddon out there.

  • My neighbours with the noisy kids must wonder why they have so many hungover snails in their garden.detritus
  • It might be easier to run a copper wire or tape around the perimeter. Snails and slugs won't cross those.i_monk
