million dollar idea
adobe should make a shared environment where multiple people can access all the features of photoshop (and their other products) to collaborate on an image simultaneously. I can't help but imagine that would be a boom for creative and retouching work.
as a simple example; imagine multiple clone stampers cleaning up dust spots from macrophotography.
as a complex example, multiple smart objects being edited and type being placed during color correction and airbrushing.
(maybe it already exists. i dunno)
- But what if you're in the middle of a two step process and someone deletes/alters a layer you hid but were going to use in step 2?shapesalad
- Be better if the created an 'open' platform were we could grab a filter from AE, a tool from AI and custom build our own image editing app.shapesalad
- e.g., don't like the PS pen tool, switch it for the fireworks pen tool. Want to use a filter from AE, stick it into PS. etc.shapesalad
- Essentially all the filters, tools etc are modular anyway. Why not code them all to work in one universal platform.shapesalad
- so on one layer you create vectors with AI tools. Type with indesign tools. Edit a photo with PS tools, then open up AE time line and animate, then export XDshapesalad
- no more exporting/importing across the adobe suite.shapesalad
- you're describing fireworksimbecile
- That would make for probably the most epic PSB this world has known.mandomafioso

- Use Google File Stream and have folk work on the image at different times by spreading them around the world different time zones.microkorg
