we were there when football tournament was on so there was an unpleasant, aggressive, hyper-nationalistic vibe.
we got ripped off in Split.
Dubrovnik was nice for about an hour until 3 cruise ships arrived and about a billion italian tourists crammed the streets.
Enjoyed Zagreb but only stayed a day as we decided to get out of croatia.
we much preferred Bosnia and Slovenia.
although, everyone I know enjoyed Croatia, the islands especially.
